Job Description

This position is responsible for performing preventive dental care methods and procedures on patients.

This position is also expected to cover Dental Assistants’ duties as and when required.

Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience post completion of Dental Hygiene Program.

Must be willing to undergo the licensing process under the local health authority of Abu Dhabi.

Skills

-Must be adaptable and willing to gain a thorough understanding of the customs and cultural environment of the U.A.E. and the Middle East.

-Must display tact, patience and understanding in dealing with patients, patient relatives, various other nationals, and coworkers with widely varying ethnic, cultural, educational and religious backgrounds.

-Must respect, observe and uphold the customs, rites, and other indigenous features of the Islamic and .U.A.E. culture as practiced by patients and their relatives.

-Must be able to communicate, either directly and adequately with patients and relatives with different social and cultural backgrounds.

-Must be adaptable and willing to deviate from previously acquired habits of information transmission and methods of examination to meet the needs of patients and fellow dentists.

-Must be able to cope with limited geographic isolation and restricted circumstances of living.

-Must demonstrate, high professional standards and keep good conduct.

Mourany Orthodontic Center first opened its doors to the community of Al Ain in 1999 as merely an Orthodontic Clinic offering specialized services in this branch of Dentistry, occupying a small part of the British Home Store building’s upper floor in Al Muwaiji. The Managing Director, Dr. Haitham Elias Mourany, having completed intensive educational programs in the United States and board certified by the National Board of Orthodontics, U.S., American Board of Orthodontics and American Academy of Laser Dentistry, established the center in May 1999 with the ardent desire of providing high standard of oral health care to private individuals in the region.

Since then, Mourany Orthodontic Center has steadily expanded its services to cater to the growing need of patients in the area. Committed to providing only the best in the industry, the center has progressively introduced the facility and services of dental specialists in each branch of dentistry which includes Orthodontics and TMJD Therapy, Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Implantology. In year 2001, Mourany Orthodontic and Dental Center has become a full pledge multi-specialty dental center with a team of highly skilled professionals, who are experts in their own fields. To accommodate this development, its founder then decided to occupy a majority of the area of its original location at the British Home Store building.
