Job Description
Analyzes project expenditures and budgets
Leads and serves as the liaison between different project groups and project stakeholders
Sends out progress reports to the management and team members,
Reviews and administers contracts and alerts management about issues or problems that may hinder project completion.
Provides requested studies and estimated costs.
Establishes procedure to take over the newly completed projects.
Directs, advises and monitors the performance of personnel assigned under his responsibility.
Responsible for the establishment and continued use of safety procedures on the projects
Coordinates in the compilation of information for the preparation of the monthly technical report to the deputy general manager
Updates plans and drawings further to carried out modifications and projects
Coordinates the issuance of deficiency notifications to the Contractors after the completion of inspection by Engineers/Inspectors.
Coordinates the input of deficiency notification and deficiency rectification.
Prepares analytical reports relating to various technical functions and projects.
Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and reduce operating costs
Control the compliance of works with airport regulation in effect (decrees, norms, OACI/ICAO annexes…)
Control the work compliance with the Airport Certification standards (ICAO rules, Safety studies, procedures…)
Participating in implementation of SMS (safety management system)
Detect the airport safety deficiencies and initiate safety studies
Preparation and follow-up of investment budgets CAPEX
Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule
Evaluate the Contractor's performance.
schedule and ensures the functioning state of equipment likely to jeopardize safety.
Reports to upper position difficulties, shortcomings and faults and takes necessary action.
Evaluates objectively the performances of realized works and reports the measured Key performances.
Checks that personnel under his supervision are carrying out their duties in compliance with the procedures and safety rules set up in the field.
Ensures that personnel under his supervision are properly trained and that their skills are updated and propose training action.
Evaluates the performances of the personnel under his supervision objectively.
Skills
The Engineering and project manager must be Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer unless he has previously worked as a Project Manager on construction, operation or maintenance at the airport project for three years.
