Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Mission:
Co-ordinates planning programming and carrying out construction projects, guaranteeing optimized technical and economic results and ensuring observance of HSE standards and procedures.

Tasks:
1) Co-ordinates planning, programming and carrying out of all construction related activates guaranteeing optimized technical and economic results and ensuring observance of HSE standards and procedures.
2) Supervises co-ordination of job order performance activities, guaranteeing the fulfillment of contractual commitments, achievement of objectives as regards times, quality and safety and the attainment of the best technical and economic results.
3) Ensures, during the carrying out of the production activates, the optimal management of relationships with clients within the framework of the defined contract.
4) Ensures that production activates are carried out with full respect of group and project specific quality and HSE procedures.
5) Supervises the definition of standards and tools in order to set up the yard production control system.
6) Liaises with procurement department with regard to their interface with production activities.
7) Supervises project support activities: engineering, planning and cost control.
8) Supervises the development of working technologies and methodologies in activities of interest to the company and investments.
9) Increases management involvement in managing and driving safety performance.
10) Guarantees professional growth in terms of knowledge dissemination to the subordinate.
11) Reinforces supervisory role in safety accountability.
12) Interfaces with other EPC actors ( engineering, procurement, commissioning/hook up.

Skills

Preferred Candidate Profile
These are the MUST requirements for this position:-
Technical background (mechanical preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years overall experience of Operations Management of large Oil and Gas, offshore topsides modules, fabrication and erection Yard Production & Projects Dept in his role.
- Minimum 10 years experienced in Oil & Gas (Yard experience preferred)
- Knowledge of production activities management
- Knowledge of fabrication disciplines (piping, electro-instrumental, structures)
- Age < 55

Education

Technical background (mechanical preferred)
