Facilities In Charge

Job Description

A leading property developer in the U.A.E is looking for a UAE experienced Facilities In Charge with responsibilities as follows:

• Liaising with internal and external service providers to obtain the best services that meet Land lord
expectations
• Managing day-to-day maintenance inquiries and investigating residents complaints
• Conducting major periodic and daily inspections to verify safety and general conditions of facilities
• Preparing work schedules, reviewing daily work records to assure job completeness
• Liaising, reporting and maintaining standards such as landscaping and cleaning
• Coordinating all aspects of health, safety and fire safety
• Following the purchasing and payments procedures
• Maintaining inventories and ensuring an adequate supply of materials, equipments, parts and related items
• Obtaining and documenting quotes. Evaluating proposals for specification compliance and making
recommendation of award
• Reviewing and ascertaining suppliers’ invoices and quotations
• Tracking utilities expenses on monthly basis and preparing energy reports
• Maintaining payments records and making reports from them
• Preparing budget for area of responsibility
• Preparing all service level agreements (Security, MEP, Cleaning, Landscaping…)
• Reviewing construction defects and preparing defect reports
• Claiming deductions from contractors based on defects types
• Detailed follow up and coordination with project management and contractors on snagging issues for newly
handed over units (till obtaining tenants’ satisfaction)
• Technical review of any alteration request raised by the tenants
• Following up alteration or new fit-out of shops and restaurants
• Making recommendation on improvements and savings on facilities
• Coordinating and following up with external associations and authorities (DEWA, ETISALAT, Municipality…)

Skills

University Degree in Management or Engineering or documented experience in the field of Facilities Management that is not less than 10 years.

Three years experience in the field of Facilities Management in the UAE.Ten years experience in the field of Facilities Management anywhere in the world.

Good command of English Language with Arabic as an added advantage.
Skilled in all the Microsoft Office Software.
