Job Description

To carry out specific marketing-related tasks in support of marketing and / or advertising activities / promotions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department and the provision of a consistent brand image.

Process marketing department documentation and information from a variety of sources in order to support ongoing marketing activities.

Collate and / or summarize data and produce routine reports, schedules, summaries and letters, seeking additional information where necessary, to support specific marketing activities

Identify and undertake initial investigations into data discrepancies in order to correct errors and ensure the highest standards of data accuracy

Coordinate with internal marketing personnel and external event organizers / venues to ensure that all marketing promotional events are hosted in a professional and efficient

Carry out ad hoc project work as required, involving internal and / or external liaison, within set guidelines provided by the Marketing Manager.

Coordinate with external printers and manufacturers of marketing materials to ensure that all material is produced on time and according to cost / quality criteria.

Communicate with stores on an individual basis to ensure that they are aware of and prepared for forthcoming promotional events.

Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure the correct coding of all Marketing Department expenditure so that financial reports reflect operational circumstances.

Skills
