Job Description

Flexible, hard working Finance Manager required to assist the Financial controller in ensuring that the financial, accounting and treasury functions of the Business Unit are completed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner and to consult / advise on Process improvements to all Finance operations in Dubai.

The Role

• Manage, support, guide, train and assist the finance team,
• Work closely with the Financial Controller assisting with implementing policies and procedures that would be more effective and be the next in charge when the FC is having to travel.
• Work closely with Group Management Accountant to review Management Accounts and drive improvements
• Ensure that accounting standards adhered to especially accrual accounting, matching concept etc.

The Person

• Candidate will have appropriate degree and education and a minimum of ten years experience, we are searching for someone who has preferably worked their way up the accounting ladder and has experience at every stage.
• Native English speaker.
• Hard working, passionate and driven, this is a busy role with a lot of work involved, it requires someone who enjoys working hard and has a passion for Finance and Managing teams.
• Already living in Dubai with a minimum of two years in the market.
