Financial Control Manager

Job Description

• Audit bookkeeping transactions to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and in the appropriate accounts

• Monitor the operational reconciliations carried out on a daily basis and ensure that funds transfer are carried out only as approved and that un reconciled items are resolved

• Review all procurement and spend requests and verify before submitting for approval by director

• Review debts ageing reports and flag any debts requiring further action to collect

• Lead the budget preparation process and the on-going monitoring of actual spend and revenue versus budgeted numbers

• Prepare financial statements for submission to external audit



Middle Management Role:

• Accountable for and has the authority over department’s unit to validate the adherence to policies, procedures and short term plans.

• In charge for SPM practice and training and development plans for department’s 1st line management
.
• Responsible for constant support, encouragement and motivation towards team members.

• Share suggestions and problem solving techniques to top level management as a role of being an intermediary between top and 1st line management.

Skills

• Finance or Economics degree

• +5 year experience in management accounting or financial analysis roles

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Ability to convert and present complex numerical analysis in business language

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

• Leadership potential and ability to influence at senior level

Education

Bachelor Degree in Accounting
