Job Description

Demonstrate the correct way to use exercises and equipment
Monitor the misuse of equipment
Ensure the gym is clean and free of health and safety hazards
Deliver exercise classes and workshops
Develop personal exercise and diet plans
Motivating clients and team members
Assisting clients in breathing exercises
Identifying specific training needs
Applying first aid procedures
Constructing instructional programs
Leading various recreational activities
Monitoring and communicating client progress
Demonstrating each physical activity

Skills

Has one more of the following skills:
Flexibility training.
Dynamic strength training.
Static strength-training.
Aerobic training.
Circuit training.
Have High-Energy and are Incredibly Enthusiastic.
Great communication skills, an outgoing attitude, and professionalism.
While training you need to be positive, smiling, happy, and 100% energy when you are training clients.
Have a Passion for health and fitness, your passion will rub off on our clients, which will help them reach their goals, and will also help dictate a wonderful environment.
Always show up early to their shift, in uniform, and ready to give a tremendous workout, understanding that our clients are expecting great service each time they attend.
Very Vocal, always coaching the clients on form and movement, helping the clients focus on, and maximize, their workout, and their experience.
You must connect with a variety of clients and make sure that they are having an experience that exceeds their expectations. Helping clients achieve their weight-loss/fitness goals. Equal time, and care, must be given to each client.
Motivational: You need to be both motivational and encouraging, but also tough; your job is not always to give the clients what they want, rather, you need to give them what they need, which, either way, means you have to push the clients to reach their goals.
Knowledgeable: you will be teaching the clients, going over any questions and concerns the clients have, supporting their fitness with educating them on proper nutrition and helping them follow the nutritional program.
Have an Entrepreneurial Spirit: Helping to retain clients is one of the key components to this job. You're helping the manager, the company, and the client succeed, and it's important that you make the studio a desirable place to be where the clients get results.
