Job Description

Participate in section HSE meetings.
Manage the QA/QC implementation for all fabrication & weld repair jobs in the plant.
Specify the inspection strategy to be implemented for each of the plant fixed equipment & major plant assets.
Manage building inspection data base for the plant machines.
Daily, conduct data analysis task to evaluate the plant condition & predict failure before it occurs.
Support the maintenance overhauling activities in conducting all needed predictive techniques to add to the maintenance scope.
Be a technical contact for all insurance inspection activities & report discussions.
Support the operation and maintenance in troubleshooting & determining the dynamic condition.
Participate in investigating the plant safety and reliability incidents & determine the remedy actions.
Provide advises to improve the maintenance quality control.
Conducting technical sessions to keep enhancing the team collective knowledge.
Provides input to the capital planning budget taking into account improvement opportunities and end of life replacement requirements.
As required, attend management meetings & engineering committees.
Participates in Emergency Response and Command activities as required.
Participates in (and sometimes leads) safety audits in the plants.
Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned by management.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Full conversant with international codes and standards for equipment inspection
4 years’ total experience in his field.
Computer literate/PC application.
Fluency in written/spoken English (Arabic is an asset).
Experience in the Middle East is an asset.
