Flight Dispatcher

Job Description

Basic Function :
The employee is responsible for coordinating with flight crews and the third party to provide safe and timely performance of all NAS flights.

• Evaluates weather and flight performance and generate a flight release.
•Maintains and updates “Jeppesen” charts and manuals.
•Generates a safe and efficient flight plan, including weight and balance and performance data for both domestic and international flights.
•Provides accurate weather briefing to crewmembers.
•Coordinates flight-follow trips on the way and aircraft arrival to the destination.
•Understands customs requirements, as well as resource material availability to research and confirming this information.
•Understands and communicates operations/limitations/specifications of aircraft in relationship to customer’s requested flight built in computer (IntelliJet).
•Coordinates with outside flight planning agencies and international handling agencies to insure efficient trip planning.
•Handles strict operational requirements such as clearances (over flight), permits (landing), reservation (slot / airway), restrictions (noise / time), permissions (PPR), and authorizations.
•Arranges and follows up crew accommodation & transportation.
•Arrange and follows up fuel for NAS fleet as required.
•Performs other related work as may be required.

Skills

Dispatcher candidate has to meet the following requirements:

1. Saudi National

2. Graduation (finish high school).

3. GACA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.

4. English Language ( speak, reed and under stand )

5. The Maximum age 26 years.

6. Related job as A meteorologist or an air traffic controller.

7. Preferred two years experience
