    Head Office Technical Office Manager

    Job Description

    Reporting To : General Manager

    Direct Subordinate : 1- Senior Technical Office Engineers
    2-Senior Planning Engineers

    Main Duties:
    1. Prepare and review the project’s contract.
    2. Review and evaluate the variation orders, additional works, and claims and then administer the contract.
    3. Prepare, review and approve the cost estimation for the Tenders, including direct, in-direct, and overheads breakdown.
    4. Supervise and review the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel.
    5. Preparing technical, material submittals and shop drawing
    6. Planning and maintaining project budget and schedule Planning.
    7. Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
    8. Assure the quality Management system in the company is effectively implemented and improved.
    9. Take part in the project management review and risk management review.
    10. Coordinate between the construction and engineering teams ensuring that the construction requirements are conveyed to the engineering teams and that the engineering deliverables satisfy the construction requirements.
    11. Managing the cost analysis and cost control of projects.
    12. Supervise the quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.
    13. Review subcontractors' invoices.
    14. Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments.
    15. Documenting project issues/conditions.
    16. Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
    17. Review the technical specifications, BOQ and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
    18. Prepare RFQ documents, technical specifications, BOQ, drawings and contract provisions.
    19. To review vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors quotations to determine best complying with specifications besides best price and delivery date.
    20. To prepare a technical submittal to project consultant.
    21. Review and evaluate the construction time schedule, resources and cash flow.

    Skills

    •Education:
    Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related

    •Experience:

    15 - 20years of experience in the Construction Industry

    •Skills and abilities :

    1.In-depth, current, technical knowledge
    2.Computer literate
    3.Good communication and supervisory skills
    4.Computer literate
    5.Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment
