Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
• Is half time on site with HSE Supervisor duties and half time dedicated to HSE training;
• Prepares and updates the HSE site induction presentations (labour force, supervisory staff, visitors, etc);
• Conducts the HSE site induction of new project personnel;
• Ensures that workers have received necessary HSE trainings for specific or hazardous activities (Confined spaces, scaffolding erection…),
• Prepares HSE Training programmes;
• Coordinates with external HSE training centers to perform specialized trainings which cannot be done internally (First aid, fire fighting, scaffolding erection, etc)
• Conducts internal trainings (emergency, evacuation drills, chemical handling, etc)
• Attends internal and external HSE Audits related to HSE trainings;
• Verifies that toolbox meetings are well performed within the labour force;
• Takes part of the accident’ analyses, incidents and near misses which happen on site;
Skills
- Post-Graduate education in related HSE, Technical, Civil engineering or similar
- Recognized technical certification in HSE Management Systems
- Fluent in English
- Experience as HSE trainer in Civil Work, Construction or Oil & Gas Industry
- 6 to 10 years of experience
