The HR manager develops policies, directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.
Reviews salary levels proposed by management and recommends factor level assignments, ensuring consistency within existing organizational patterns
Receives complaints from employees and management and attempts to negotiate resolution of problems outside of the formal grievance process. Conducts any required research to ensure accuracy of allegations.
Analyzes hiring and promotional practices to ensure that the company is in compliance with the law.
Represents the human resource office in company meetings relative to organization of new units and reorganization of existing units.
Proposes alternative organizational plans based on knowledge of company rules and policies.
Participates in manpower planning of the company.
Directs the processing and entry of all personnel actions including appointments, merit increases, promotions, transfers, and separations.
Evaluates and determines priority of workload.
Interprets company rules and regulations and departmental policies and procedures regarding personnel actions for management, employees, and applicants.
Oversees recruiting, selection, and placement activities for the company.
Reviews all interview materials. Monitors hiring practices to ensure supervisors are selecting or rejecting applicants in conformance with legal requirements and department policy.
Experience with Government relations, Saudi Labour Law and Saudization Law.
Assists supervisors in understanding their role in the company’s action plan.
Provides training and assistance to supervisors and managers in proper use of the system. May conduct meetings with employees to explain the roles of employees and supervisors in the successful operation of the performance appraisal system
Minimum of 5 years as Human Resources Manager in a medium to large company, preferable in a MNC
Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
Excellent spoken & written English essential
Good Microsoft word and excel computer skills are essential
Experience of local recruitment
Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills
