Job Description
Sales Specialist
• Qualify and help close sales opportunities
• Perform sales activities with the goal of driving regional revenue
• Deliver exceptional presentations to present product features and business benefits of products
• Strong Ability to demonstrate software technologies
• Create and present custom demonstrations and presentations as they apply to customer/prospect issues and needs
• Position the proposed solution to the prospect’s technical, end users, operations and senior management staff
• Help formulate custom demos, customer referrals, pilot and product acceptance plans to meet customer stated acceptance criteria such as performance and functionality requirements
• Ensure successful pilot projects and product installations
• Manage technical aspects of corporate visits
• Maintain high level of involvement in the close of accounts identified by sales and technical management
• Support regional business development activities
• Ensure that all appropriate demos, presentations and software are installed and maintained on your Presales equipment
• Effectively utilize corporate applications, email and other communication vehicles
• Participate in all appropriate product training and certification to acquire and maintain high product knowledge
• Continue development of job related expertise and communication skills
• Responsible for helping achieve 100% customer satisfaction
• Maintain high quality client relationships
• Corporate liaison for customer issues on as needed basis
Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in relevant sales of web and client server technology.
• Basic understanding of programming Languages(Java, VBScript, SQL, C etc.)
• Basic understanding of Data Modeling
• Charting & analysis experience
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lead team to solve complex selling problems in complex political environments
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong sales and marketing skills including: Needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
