Job Description
MIG Solutions is the technology development arm of MIG bank S.A of Switzerland (www.migbank.com). We are building complex, real time dealing applications to support MIG bank rapid growth. MIG Solutions is looking to hire QA Engineer to perform engineering work requiring full competency in all conventional aspects of quality engineering, developing and implementing QA processes, test plans, test cases and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency of testing.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, execute and maintain manual and automated test procedures.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of software for the test environments.
- Provide clear, concise, timely communication of test reports, escalations and recommendation.
- Performs most assignments independently, with only general supervision/instruction as to expected results.
Skills
- Fresh graduate or 1 year experience is plus
- Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and procedures
- Proficiency in Handling all the activities in the Product Test Life Cycle (Gather Test Requirements, Test Estimation
and Planning, Design and develop Test Cases, Test Execution, Bug Management, etc )
- Exposure to multiple testing strategies as in white box, black box, regression, integration, performance testing etc
- Ability to install and administer application servers and databases
- Fluency in written and spoken English language.
- Good knowledge in Object Oriented and coding, knowledge in Java is Plus.
- Poses high ethical standards.
- Diversified IT technical background.
- Creative and innovative.
- Strong Technical writing and editing skills.
- Strong communications skills.
- Excellent team skills and positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
