Job Description
- Reports to the Commissioning Manager
EXPERIENCE - Successful lead engineer role at a minimum of 1 combined cycle project. Minimum of 2 combined cycle project as commissioning engineer.
The BOP Lead Commissioning Engineer is accountable for, but not limited to, the following:
Supervise all BOP Commissioning Engineers and BOP craft assigned to Bemco.
Assign daily tasks
Monitor performance
Train as required
Ensure safe work habits are practiced
Coordinate all vacation/days off to support project objectives
Others
Plan and monitor all BOP activities
BOP system and equipment erection and installation
BOP system pipe welding
BOP system hydrostatic testing
BOP system cleaning (chemical, flush, hydrolase, etc)
BOP system/piping steam/air blow
Supports
Testing
Others
Coordinate all BOP vendor representative activities.
Provide updates to the Commissioning Manager as directed.
Support all Commissioning Manager, Site and Corporate policies and direction.
Immediately inform Commissioning Manager of any problems, injuries, unplanned events or any other issue that could affect project schedule.
Ensure all documentation is maintained current and submitted in a timely manner.
Provide input to scheduling.
Provide manning concerns and personnel issues to the Commissioning Manager in a timely manner..
Coordinate with all other parties (construction, vendor, safety, quality control, client, partners, etc.) to complete the job on time, safely and correctly.

Skills
