Provide ad-hoc advice on specified legal topics concerning business units on matters concerning corporate governance;
Draft and review shareholders related agreements to identify areas of legal risks and liabilities and to ensure their alignment with the company's business interest;
Provide legal service for major transactions like acquisitions, mergers, JV's, & partnerships.
Follow up with official authorities on company registrations, Internet protocol related registrations and other legal matters pertaining to internal legal functions;
Monitor and analyze local legislations and regulations which may impact the Milaha’s operations and submit regular reports with recommendations to the Management Committee;
Conduct ongoing research and maintain awareness of changes in Laws and regulations that may impact Milaha and its business units, and provide advice on legal matters and communicate all legal concepts and risks to them;
Maintain and follow up on registering and renewing any brands and examine materials such as publications and advertisements for legal implications;
Maintain and follow up on company registration and/ or copyrights of products, devices, processes, and trademarks of the organization;
Liaise with other relevant Business Unites in restructuring wholly or partially any exist or new business to Milaha.
Implement legal processes to ensure Milaha’s privileges, obligations, and rights of the Milaha’s;and propose necessary amendments in order to safeguard the Milaha’s right
Find out, appoint, deal with, and follow up with proper external counsel in any specialized transaction.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience in corporate matters and reviewing commercial contracts.
Ideally be experienced in Shipping, Maritime &/or real estate.
Preferably living in Doha.
Fluent in English language.
