Job Description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Under general supervision, performs various tasks relating to the transport of employees and other passengers in passenger vehicles.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains and update the vehicle inspection to ensure compliance with health and safety;
• Conducts vehicle inventory each morning;
• Collects and deliver vehicle to customers;
• Maintains the necessary paperwork and operate a POS machine when needed;
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch/management;
• Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc. prior to moving vehicle;
• Responsible for ensuring the inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis;
• Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly;
• Monitors vehicle condition and reports malfunctioning items or damage to management;
• Accurately capture day to day activity on driver log sheet;
• Perform other related duties as may be required by immediate supervisor

Skills

1. Good English communication both oral and written
2. Must have a clean driving and safety record;
3. Possess a valid UAE Driver's license
