Job Description

The Logistics Manager liaises between production and commercial departments by managing the process that starts by the receipt of finished goods, through stocking, transferring till the distribution to customers.
He / she is manages and motivates the team to ensure the stocking of finished goods as per the FIFO method (First In First Out) and their delivery as per the OTIF method (On Time In Full).
He / she is also responsible for controlling the availability of raw materials, auxiliary and packaging materials to meets business needs and requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and controlling the stock
o Anticipate allocation of an alternative solution for the storage capacity when required
o Ensure optimum usage of warehouses capacity through managing in and out activities
o Ensure internal customer satisfaction through controlling warehouses managers daily tasks
o Provide delivery schedules based on stock levels and projected production forecast
o Ensure supply of all materials for production department
o Control the reception of materials, issue relative GRN and coordinates with the laboratory for quality check and decision.
o Handle the responsibility of the damage location through controlling movements and stock and communicating with finance and supply chain materials to be written off
- Updating the data on the ERP system and generating necessary reports
o Record and check on the system all data entries related to the delivery of receivables of all materials
o Reports discrepancies of stock when occurring
- Managing the team
o Plan activities of all the department’s entities
o Control and supervise the team’s work for optimal performance
o Control the operation of goods’ transfer between warehouses
o Motivate and coach the team and resolve problems
o Manage leaves of the department’s employees
- Managing the distribution operations
o Control the work of the delivery entity in order to ensure the delivery of goods as per the OTIF method
o Ensure external customers satisfaction through controlling external stock movements and meeting customers’ demand
- Following up on formalities
o Prepare an annual plan for mechanical tax payment of all vehicles
o Control the completion of the fleet vehicles formalities
o Ensure that the monthly data (related to alcohol produced, sold and remaining in stock) matches the financial inspector’s data

Skills

Experience : Min 5 years of experience in warehousing management
Languages : Good command of English; French is a plus.
Computer skills : Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. ERP systems knowledge is a plus
Competencies : Has the sense of initiative and demonstrates strategic thinking, has planning and organization skills, has leadership skills and is a team player, is able to transform plans into concrete solutions and takes proactive actions

Education

Business administration or equivalent; MBA is a plus
