Job Description

Warehouse Management:
Assisting Operations Manager in hiring and management of necessary personnel based upon warehouse staffing needs.
Receiving of all equipment and stock followed by all necessary documentation and handling involved in the receiving process as stipulated in the QMS Manual.
Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system and customer service manager.
Maintaining of all logs and files regarding Warehouse operations and policy and procedure related to the warehouse and its operations.
Assisting Operations manager with an annual related budget, scheduling expenditures, and other financials related to the warehouse and the delivery fleet.
Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintaining warehouse staff by orienting, and training employees.
Maintaining warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment;

Fleet Management:
Routing of all deliveries and prioritizing based on variables such as accepted time of delivery - region - customer - order priority.
Maintain vehicle inspection records
Plans, directs, and coordinates the operation of vehicle maintenance and repair programs for ABF vehicles.
Prepares and directs delivery related training programs for newly employed personnel.
Reviews purchase requests for new and replacement vehicles.
Plans and administers a preventive maintenance and vehicular replacement program for vehicles.
Receives and processes vehicle accident and damage reports.
Prepares cost analysis and periodic management and operational reports.
Performs related duties as required.

Skills

University/Institutional degree in a related field (Operations Management/ Warehouse management / Fleet Management / Supply Chain / Logistics)
5-8 years of experience in Warehouse and Fleet Management
Ability to exert full control over a team of 20+ warehouse personnel
In depth knowledge of Lebanese territory and roads
Computer Proficiency
Experience in developing budgets
Experience in developing and implementing standards and operational processes
Experience in inventory control
Read/Written/Spoken Arabic and English
Familiarity with the Pharmaceuticals Distribution industry in Lebanon is a plus.
