Mall Promotions & Media Executive

Job Description

Job Purpose: Please indicate below why the job exists, and its importance to the Department / Company.

To achieve Media and Promotions (Egypt) Budget, and to increase the opportunities of getting additional income to the centre through presenting new temporary promotional/retail location to promoters and retailers.


Key Tasks: Outline below the main responsibilities of the job.

1. Achieve or exceed the revenue targets contained in the budget for each operating property (specifically Alexandria City Centre - ACC) assigned by the Management.

2. To prospect and negotiate short and long term, third party revenue generating programs, such as Promotions, RMU’s and ATM’s for ACC.

3. To implement the operating criteria for each revenue source, to ensure presentation and implementation of revenue generating programs are to the high standards of the portfolio.

4. To finalise all lease contracts (Licenses, temporary occupancy agreements) and letters of agreement for ACC and coordinate with the Lease Administrator to ensure the company is properly represented in the event of any default, either monetary or non-monetary.

5. To co-ordinate the set up and take down of all short term revenue generating space users for ACC.

6. To prepare a weekly schedule/status of short term revenue generating displays (weekend deals) to ensure all staff is notified of particulars of short term space users for ACC.

7. To prepare a monthly Revenue and Forecast report outlining the amount and source of revenue from all short term space users for ACC.

8. To maintain a proper filing procedure to record all revenue generating space users for ACC.

9. To reconcile achieved revenue with Mall Finance for ACC.

10. Assist in developing new programs and revenue generating ideas that are approved for each property, functional, and effective and maximizes revenues.

Skills

Must possess at least one year experience in shopping centres/mall management.

Should possess smalrt personality, with an excellent presentation and communication skills.

Possess a strong market awareness of all competitors and competing Shopping Malls.
