    Location: Qatar

    Salary range: QR 18,000 to 20,000 package + commission structure and performance bonus + company profit-share plan


    Who we are looking for

    The Manager, Property Management Department oversees all property management activities including selling property owners on the business model to sign up properties with the company, managing all maintenance and repair activities, and managing invoices and payments from property owners. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of foremen and maintenance / repair crews. You will also be responsible for marketing the company’s property management service to Qatari property owners and closing property management contracts; the ability to speak and communicate in fluent Arabic is a requirement of this position. Our company has a new and unique business model and the ability to sell local Qatari owners on this model is a requirement of the position. The Manager will be expected to contribute to Senior Management meetings which will address issues of business growth and expansion from a business-wide perspective, and as such this is a dynamic role for an individual with an entrepreneurial sprit. The compensation package includes the opportunity for rapid advancement within a growing business, target-based performance bonuses and in addition, participation in a company profit-share plan.

    Summary of job functions

    • Lead, train, and manage a team of foremen and labor crews
    • Coordinate the property management team to ensure that high quality services are consistently provided to owners and tenants in the management of properties
    • Actively market the property management service to local Qatari property owners to achieve a working database of a diverse array of units for offer to lease
    • Negotiate the property management agreement with the property owner
    • Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with the owner’s instruction
    • Be responsible for arranging the prompt preparation and distribution of monthly or bi-monthly owner statements and accompanying payments
    • Coordinate incoming and outgoing inspections in accordance with company requirements
    • Utilize the company software to prepare all necessary documentation including management agreements, inspection reports, and maintenance / repair reports
    • Handle maintenance issues including obtaining quotes and confirming job with tradesperson, checking and entering invoices
    • Ensure company motor vehicle for labor is maintained both mechanically and aesthetically at all times including current insurance
    • Coordinate with equipment and tool suppliers to ensure the lowest price and highest quality of materials to be utilized in maintenance work

    Skills

    Education, skills and experience

     Property, construction or engineering-related degree or equivalent technical / professional qualification
     Ten (10)+ years property industry experience, preferably with half as a manager
     Five (5)+ years experience in management and maintenance of properties with a real estate company, preferably in a management role
     Prior experience in the hospitality (hotel) industry would be a bonus
     Relevant product and industry knowledge of the Qatari or GCC real estate market
     Prior experience with CRM and Database Management software required


    Other requirements / restrictions

     Fluent bi-lingual Arabic / English speaker required
     Fluency / working knowledge of any other European languages a plus
     Male applicants only
     Candidates currently based in Qatar or another GCC country will be given first consideration
     If currently based on Qatar you must be able to produce an NOC (no objection certificate) from your current employer
