Our client, the world's largest independent shipping and transport services provider with over 200 offices worldwide, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator Profile and FunctionsThe post comprises a broad range of responsibilities include general communications with and on behalf of the offices in the region (internal, external and online) trade lane development and marketing support, desktop publishing, mailings, as well as media and administration. To be considered for this role, advanced use of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is crucial, in addition to good graphic design skills in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. AccountabilitiesIn association with the Communications Manager - Middle East, develop print and marketing communications material to support the ME communications strategy1. Advertising (Print online outdoor)a. Accountable for designing artwork and submiting press ready files for submission. 2. Marketing collateral, reports and presentationsa. Design andor format marketing material including regional local product brochures, direct mailers, presentations, reports, electronic mail shots etc, in strict adherence to the company's design guide. 3. Events a. Design and administrative support for events and exhibitions - production of exhibition stands and other such requirements. 4. Internal Communicationsa. Coordinatefollow up with regional offices for information or feedback pertaining to projects. b. Ensure that all external marketing communications material meets Group Compliance approval before it is published or distributed. c. Work together with the Communications Manager to develop monthly Middle East e-newsletter. d. Liase with corporate communications team to ensure that any new marcom material developed for the region is uploaded to the intranet. e. Distribute newsletter, press-releases, news and e-shots to the region. 5. Public Relationsa. Ensure that the appointed agencies translate, distribute press-releases as per the pre-determined scheduled and that monthly media clipping are received within the first week of the month. 6. Administrationa. Provide effective administrative support to the Communications Manager. b. Database management maintenance, including ensuring that job cards (log), media archives, distribution lists, personnel and office details listed are updated. c. Screen calls, media enquiriesrequests and handle when appropriate. d. Organise and maintain schedules, appointments and meetings. e. Attend meetings, record minutes when required and track progress of meeting action points - ensuring completion. f. Reconcile monthly expenses. g. Ensure that media marketing invoices are submitted to the relevant offices. h. Assist with email management, preparation of documents, travel arrangements and conference bookings as and when required. 7. Othersa. Assist with ad-hoc design, marketing or communications projects that may be allocated from time-to-time. b. Responsible for adhering to company-wide adoption of the highest standards of business ethics. c. Responsible for upholding company's Corporate values and promoting company's Spirit.
