The Candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the transactional volume and revenue growth across our network of distribution partners.

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating marketing activities to stimulate revenue and customer awareness. Retail Merchandising is a particular focus area. You will also be responsible for managing the monthly marketing budget and for effectively exploiting operator supplied marketing funds.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly committed and results-orientated individual to prove themselves in a challenging role and fast-paced environment. Frequent travel will be required to fulfil the role.

On a day to day basis the successful candidate will have numerous tasks including;

•Plan and coordinate the execution of multiple marketing activities both ABTL and BTL for our partners across the region. This is a demanding responsibility best suited to a high energy person who will appreciate the scope of responsibility and autonomy to operate

•Liaise and network with mobile operators in both sourcing sponsorship and providing support to marketing promotions and activities to generate high sales volumes and an increased brand awareness

•Work with ezetop internal marketing team in the implementation of new initiatives and company marketing guidelines

•Work with external parties (printing press, ad agency, etc) to procure different BTL and ATL material

•Coordinate with ezetop Account Managers to plan and execute activities, and with ezetop Sales Executives to plan launches for new partners

•Manage the marketing budget, advertising and other promotional activities

•Arrange for the production and effective distribution of marketing materials

•Monitor and measure results from marketing activities and recommend new directions

•Report regularly to management

Skills

Key Attributes

•Degree in Marketing or related discipline

•2-3 years marketing experience is essential

•Experience in telecommunications and marketing to Diaspora communities is desirable

•High energy and results-orientated individual

•Hands on person who enjoys working in the public environment and at retail locations rather than in an office setting

•Strong organizational and communications skills, with a competency to present ideas and results through PowerPoint systems

•Ability to work in an high growth company with strong, passionate people

•Fluency in English

• Valid clean driving licence and access to personal transport is required

Education

Degree in Marketing or related discipline
