Job Description

We are currently looking for a Site Mechanical Engineer

Mandatory Profile Requirement:

Shall have a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from a recognized university and at least eight (8) years extensive experience in the design and construction of plumbing, HVAC and site utilities in high quality buildings. He shall have a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in the construction sector and be literate in computer and AutoCAD. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.

Preference will be given to those candidates who has previous experience with Royal Commission Jubail & Yanbu.

Design, test, maintain and oversee the installation, operation and repair of engines.
Design and implement cost-effective to help improve safety, reliability and throughput
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of machines to ensure that they are installed and functional according to specifications and requirements
Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements
Recommend design modifications to eliminate potential issues
Solve all issues on site in order to avoid any possible delays
Prepare all necessary paperwork and ensure proper authorizations and approvals
Ensure proper communication with the Project Engineer and prepare all required reports

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in related field.


Familiarity with design software such as AUTOCAD
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet-Intranet and Project Management software
Ability to coordinate and promote team participation within the project, as well as coordinate and control information flow and the shipment of construction material
Ability to review and validate the implementation plan for each specialty area
Good Communication, Planning and Organization skills
Strong analytical skills
