Job Description

 Should be expert at piping, structure and equipment installation
 Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
 Benchmark mechanical design and identify areas of improvement.
 Assist PM to prepare the project management plan and project cost estimation.
 Participate in project estimation and technical documentation for upcoming projects as required.
 Supervise and manage project activities and evaluate the needs of project execution.
 Lead project team to ensure timeframes and customer satisfaction are met.
 Manage resources and expenses to achieve contract completion within budget and time frame.
 Directs and coordinates project activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
 Plan, organize, direct and perform difficult and complex mechanical activities and evaluate results ensuring that objectives and project requirements are met.
 Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
 Ensure the project runs to schedule and to budget, manage execution work, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays.
 Overall supervision of mechanical personnel
 Liaise with PM to plan material and manpower.
 Help PM to manage mechanical design and any design changes within budget and schedule.
 Responsible for the technical evaluation of new mechanical procurements.
 Liaise with suppliers for technical inputs and inquiries.
 Identify and scope any additional works and technical upgrades not covered in the contract to enhance the project deliverables, customer satisfaction and improve Company’s revenue.
 Identify tools necessary to enable mechanical group to function effectively.
 Mechanical group communication development.
 Promote career development within the group.
 Identify the training needs of assigned manpower for the project.
 Perform duties to the highest quality standards; be aware of the quality standard, operating procedures and company policies and procedures in general.
 Work within the provisions and guidelines of the QA standards relevant to the specific project.
 Check compliance with quality assurance, safety, and environment goals.
 Carry out duties safely and comply with all safety procedures, regulations and programs.
 Conduct regular site safety checks
 Develop safe working practices for the project.
 Assist in creating the project hand over plan.
 Perform other duties as required.

Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
Fluent in English - Arabic language fluency preferred
