Job Description

Our client develops software business solutions for the banking and finance sectors in Lebanon and the Middle East region.

Under the direction and the supervision of the Head of development unit, the role of the Mobile Application Developer is focused on the work with other developers, designers, and business managers to build applications for mobile devices as well as developing features for web applications. The successful candidate must be able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly, be a strong team player, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience building mobile applications using Objective C.

The successful candidate must possess a good understanding of the software development cycle: Product specification, Design, Implementation, QA, Release, and Maintenance.
Must have 2-3 years professional experience in creating mobile applications to work on a wide variety of devices/browsers (including iPhone, Android, Blackberry and non-smartphones).

1. Experience in creating mobile applications with Objective-C (iPhone and iPad).
2. Familiar with major productivity and design software packages
3. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices.
4. A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
5. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

University degree or equivalent in a related technical subject such as computer science, computer engineering, business computing or business information systems.

Requires 2-3 years of experience in the software industry as a Mobile Applications Developer or similar role.
