    Operation Manager

    Job Description

    • Recruiting new team members in coordination with the Admin Department.
    • Developing standards of performance.
    • Ensuring that employees are professionally supervised and motivated
    • Discussing timely employee feedback on performance with branch supervisors.
    • Assessing training needs and ensuring ongoing educational programs.
    • Taking disciplinary actions, rewarding staff and reporting to the General manager.
    • Ensuring that production deadlines are met to avoid any delays for the client.
    • Proposing and finding solutions on day to day issues to meet customer requirements.
    • Being proactive and foreseeing possible difficulties.
    • Finding solutions to problems and taking the necessary actions.
    • Encouraging a desire by team members to meet & exceed customer expectations.
    • Constantly searching for new ways to enhance skills.
    • Training continuously for consistent and effective production.
    • Coaching & correcting employees.
    • Developing & encouraging teamwork.
    • Providing decisive leadership and leading by example.
    • Preparing budgets and means to reach them.
    • Proposing and following on the implementation of ways to minimize wastage.
    • Encouraging the staff to develop new methods of productivity.
    • Regularly following the transactions on the used software.
    • Ensuring effective communications between employees.
    • Coordinating all activities within relevant outlets.
    • Communicating with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
    • Ensure high quality and cost effective products with purchasing executives.
    • Work with branch supervisor to ensure products are up to company specifications.
    • liaise with accounting department on takings and expenses to ensure accurate returns and budgets.
    • Manage and hire staff to ensure good cover and required delivery of service.
    • Coordinate with Marketing Department on regular promotions.
    • Ensure company standards and specifications are met.
    • Initiate end of month branch stock take and coordinate with Accounting and purchasing.
    • Address any serious discrepancies with Accounting and take measures.
    • Update Software accordingly.

    Skills

    - Experience in luxury brand or FMCG is a plus
    - Hands on experience in the operations of the whole business unit(including knowledge of distribution, supply chain, marketing etc..)
    - Experience in product forecasting & ordering
    - Progressive experience in managing a multi- unit food service retail organization.
    - Financial analysis & profit and loss responsibility.
    - Judgment and Decision Making
    - Active Listening

    Education

    Business and/or food service/hotel management degree desirable
