The Position:
To plan, direct and manage all aspects of Arabian Adventures' (AA's) day-to-day operations in the UAE, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery and safety for all in-resort clients, in order to maintain and enhance the company's image and reputation as the leading DMC in the Gulf region. This particular role will focus on managing the Transport and Safaris unit. This includes overseeing AA's entire fleet of vehicles, including coaches, buses, private cars and 4WDs; all safari operations (itineraries, camps, food & beverage, etc.). In addition to this managing all related staff perfomance and development. Futhermore building and maintining excellent rapport with suppliers, in order to facilitate contracting negotiations.

Skills

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree with honours
- 8 Years + experience in hospitality, with at least a minimum of 3 years of experience of managing a large operational team within a multinational/multicultural environment.
- Indepth working knowledge of the functions of a DMC's operations unit.
- Logical and systematic problem solving and decision making skills.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of tours and safari's market in the UAE would be an advantage.
- Well presented.
- 24/7 availability (except during annual leave).
- Networking requirements include entertaining Government departments, suppliers and/or clients.
