Job description :
Electro-mechanical equipment operations of the complete reverse osmosis desalination plant including seawater intake or beach well system, pretreatment system, RO system, post treatment system, potable water storage tanks, potable water transfer pump, potable water transfer piping and metering systems.

Operation of low and high pressure pumps & motors, automatic valves, manual valves etc.

Take care of day to day operation and monitoring works.

Perform daily data logging, water sampling, water quality checks using hand held instruments.

Observe abnormal operation of the plant and its equipment and report to superior

Prepare chemicals and adjust dosages

Job requirement :
Familiar with the plant operation and use of analytical instruments like pH meter, conductivity meter, pressure gauge, ammeters, vibration instrument etc.

Able to read, understand, interpret and implement work based on written and verbal communication in English language.

Should be aware of and practice all safety precautions at work.

Should be able to read, interpret data from plant instruments.

Should be able to work 6 days x 8 hours a week in all 3 shifts as per rotating time schedule. Weekly off will be based on the schedule and not fixed.

Desired requirement :
Knowledge of computer with MS office required for maintaining daily activities and reporting.

Knowledge on pump operating principles, electrical device, instrumentation etc.

Assist and work with maintenance personnel to maintain the plant equipment

Keep the work area clean and tidy

Skills

Experience :
Minimum 3 years experience as RO plant operator in any medium size RO desalination plant or power plant or process plant.

Package details from Company :

Status : Single

Annual vacation : Yearly 30 days vacation after completion of 11 months of service and completion of probation period including air ticket to candidates home city.

Medical facility : Medical Insurance per Saudi Government Policy.

Working hours : 6 days x 8 hours a week in all 3 shifts as per rotating time schedule.

Weekly Holiday : Will be based on the rotating schedule and not fixed.

Salary package : Basic, housing allowance (25% of basic), transportation allowance (10% of basic).

Where company provides the accommodation and transportation, the above allowances will not be applicable.

Work location : Any where in or outskirts of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

When required the location will be changed based on project requirement.

Probation period : 3 months

Note:
though Saudis are preferred other nationalities with suitable qualification may also apply.
