    PR Account Executive - Technology PR (Arabic)

    Job Description

    The Account Executive will provide support to the Account Team on all operational aspects in managing high profile technology accounts.

    To be successful in this role you must display a passion for PR and Technology as well as demonstrate your ability to confidently interact with clients and team members on a
    day-to-day basis.

    Support would be required for a range of communications related activities - including but not limited to - media relations, events attendance, client servicing, content creation, admin and reporting.

    You be required to draft media content, develop local and international media contacts, liaise with media and clients on story development, co-ordinate and execute events, represent clients at trade shows, assist in proposals development and prepare activity reports for the clients.

    To be considered for this role you must have worked in the fields of journalism, public relations and communication. You will have excellent writing and communications skills in English and Arabic, and have a strong desire for a career in PR. We are seeking graduates who have 2+ years’ work experience.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Research and monitor client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
    Draft and distribute news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks, standby statements and other documents
    Work with targeted media on story development, through news bureau activities
    Develop relationships with media in a proactive manner, to convey the client’s message
    Maintain relationship with media and publishing houses, to handle and resolve issues as they arise
    Coordinate and implement events and promotions for the client
    Represent client at events or trade shows
    Assist in the research and preparation of new business proposals
    Handle standard media inquiries
    Monitor media to report coverage that affects the client’s business
    Prepare daily and monthly activity reports for the review of senior team members
    Assist with administrative tasks, preparation and distribution of publications
    Handle Social and Digital activities on behalf of clients


    A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Arts
    A Diploma or Post-graduate Degree in Public relations or mass communication is desirable
    PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point are essential

    A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience within the fields of journalism, public relations, marketing or communication
    Knowledge of the Bahrain business environment is an advantage

    Oral and written communication skills in English
    Native or fluent Arabic language communications skills - you must be able to read, write and speak to a high business standard
