Description

Co-ordinates the activities of workshop and pre-fabrication, ensuring optimization of times and costs of work execution and compliance with safety and quality regulations.

1) Co-ordinates the actives of workshop personnel, ensuring optimization of duties and compliance with schedules.
2) Ensure the works programme is followed.
3) Provides quantitative data required for issuing the works programme and supervise issue of progress Report.
4) Manages workshop equipment and supervise maintenance and/or repair jobs to ensure that is kept in good working order.
5) Supervises that welding activities are carried out according to group procedures and quality standards.
6) Checks that consumables used in the workshop complies with required quality standards.
7) Optimize workshop and pre-fabrication activates.
8) Ensures that prefabrication activates are carried out with full respect of group and project specific Quality and HSE procedures.
9) Ensures that lifting and handling activates are regularly carried out with the workshop.
10) Ensures the definition and measuring of production control parameters and relative analysis of the deviations in terms of respect of times, efficiency and productivity, ensuring all corrective measures.
11) Ensures that welding activities and non-destructive controls are carried out according to job order technical procedures and specifications with a view to cost optimization.
12) Increases management involvement in managing and driving safety performance.
13) Reinforces supervisory role in safety accountability.

Skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Technical degree (mechanical discipline preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experienced in Oil & Gas for his role (Yard experience preferred)
- Knowledge of fabrication disciplines (piping, electro-instrumental, structures)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experienced in direct hiring and subcontractor
