Company:
A large turnkey contracting company with over 30 years of experience in Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified procurement supervisor with a technical background in civil materials and construction. The candidate should be interested in personal growth with the company and continually improving methods and practices.



Reporting to:
Purchasing Manager



Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
8+ years of strong procurement experience
GCC experience a must, preferably in Saudi Arabia
Experience with managing a team of 2-4



Procurement Supervisor, Civil Team

Basic Functions:

· Study and detailed review of project requirements as per contract specifications, bill of quantities


· Prepare the comparative statements or cost comparisons and finalizing the supplier in co‑ordination with Projects Manager and/or Operations Manager


· Prepare Request for Quote with detail technical specifications as per the bill of quantities or Materials List


· Preparation of Purchase Orders or Letter of intent


· Co-ordination for arranging for letter of credit


· Co-ordination and follow up between sites and suppliers for delivery of materials


· Co-ordination for material inspections


· Monitoring supplier performance and initiate necessary actions to improve the performance.


· Monitoring payment requests and ensuring payment issues do not affect delivery


· Discharge any assigned duty with his scope and nature of work.


· Spearhead in complying with Organizations Safety & Security Policies and ISO requirements and reporting


· Responsible for preparation of weekly and monthly reports regarding team performance, KPI’s, and monitoring department overall performance and output

Skills

Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
8+ years of strong procurement experience
GCC experience a must, preferably in Saudi Arabia
Experience with managing a team of 2-4
