    Procurement Manager

    Al Foah - Al Ain, UAE


    Job Description

    Management
     Manage the effective achievement of the objectives of the Procurement department through the leadership of the department - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximise the performance of subordinates and of the department.

    Budgets and Plans
     Prepare and recommend the Procurement department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs / revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

    Procurement Cycle and Documentation
     Manage the timely and efficient completion of all procurement processes and documentation in accordance with the delegated authority to comply with Al Foah’s approved procurement cycle and meet the commercial objectives.

    Procurement Projects
     Undertake complex procurement projects in accordance with the established procurement cycle / process in order to execute end user procurement requirements and provide the best value for money spent.

    Sources of Supply
     Identify, evaluate, select and maintain sources of supply in order to register and establish them as approved and preferred suppliers of goods and services.
     Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in order to facilitate procurement transactions which meet Al Foah’s objectives, maintaining high levels of service to the end user.

    Negotiation
     Negotiate with suppliers to get the best value for money.
     Resolve any disputes that may arise, to the best advantage of Al Foah, in order to achieve a favourable solution and settlement for Al Foah.
