The Product Research Specialist is responsible for delivering meaningful insights into Qatar Airways' product and service strategy, processes and performance through the use of both quantitative and qualitative analytical tools and methodologies. You will be working closely with key stakeholders in the Airline to provide necessary research for products and services to understand industry developments, trends and patterns and apply the knowledge to resolve business issues.

You will provide intelligence on product and service strategy, key customer product decisions and values. Management will expect you to contribute to the development of medium to long-term product and service strategies and product development plans. You will work with internal project teams to assess changing conditions that may impact on project status and plans. There will be constant collaboration with operations teams prior to the kick-off of projects and during the tender phase highlighting risks and opportunities. The design and implementation of a range of tools is considered one of the key skills required for this role.

We are looking for applicants with a keen personal interest in and knowledge of the key aspects of an Airline's on-board product offering.

You will also hold a Bachelor's degree from a renowned university in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics or Operations Research. A minimum of 5 years at a network airline in a highly analytical technical specialist role with strong commercial focus such as corporate strategy, revenue management, product or market research. Advanced knowledge of analytical & modeling techniques is essential.
