Job Description
PURPOSE:
To support the creation of a project management foundation within the Bank for enhanced awareness and collaboration increased efficiency, streamlined project governance, and more consistent delivery of the right projects at the right time with the right resources.
Assist the Head of PMO about the project portfolio analysis, projects status and resource planning.
Production of technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures that are efficient, effective and meet good business practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Projects:
. Participate in building relationships within specific projects’ stakeholders and within the Support Group
. Gather detailed business, functional, and technical requirements and provide initial solutions
. Equipped with finance and analysis techniques, will participate in gathering data and analyzing financial models, benefits, and metrics to build a project benefit proposal (Business Cases)
. Draft project briefs, project charters, communication plans, and timeline
. Support project governance guidelines and policies as set in the Project Office procedures (Use of templates, checkpoints, workflow, quality, risks, timesheets, budgets, etc.)
. Assist in / Perform initial solution design concepts (Part of the Business Case)
. Assist in / raft detailed project plans (MS Project)
. Collect & analyze data pertaining to a specific process within the BLC project Management workflow
. Work with project stakeholders & other team members with the project benefits in mind
. Monitor project time and cost
. Able to solve problems and perform tasks of medium to high complexity
. Act as Project Manager on specific projects within areas of knowledge and expertise
Portfolio:
.Work with departments across the bank to maximize the PMO overall portfolio delivery capability
.Provide services to the bank portfolio of projects such as consulting, guidelines, planning, scheduling, estimating, costing, delivery, and risk assessment.
.Maintain and administer the details of the portfolio of projects
.Understand inter-dependencies between projects
.Conduct preliminary project portfolio modeling and analysis
.Regularly report portfolio and projects status and make recommendations
.Maintain and review master schedules for resource usage and monitor progress accordingly
Other:
.Participate and deliver Project Management training sessions
.Administer projects repository and documentation library
.Customize and build project templates
.Help in drafting and articulating Project Management and Project Management Office methodologies, procedures and practice aids
QUALIFICATIONS
.Bachelor in BA or Science
.PMO PMI Certificate
