Job Description

The Project Manager executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
•Coordinates with the Operation Manager in the preparation of activity schedules.
•Reviews and evaluates plans, time schedules and operating budgets and provides feedback when necessary.
•Responsible for site facilities preparation.
•Organizes and distributes work tasks among his site teams according to established schedules and operating budgets.
•Monitors productivity to ensure maximum time and cost efficiency of the Site labor force.
•Coordinates with procurement, materials and equipment management to insure availability of materials and equipment required on site.
•Delegates power to engineering staff for drawing materials and requesting equipment according to site requirements. Sees that such resources are not wasted or neglected and are properly utilized.
•Coordinate with Administrative Department for all staff requirements for project completion within required time and budget.
•Supervises sub-contractors and coordinates their schedules to insure best quality with good productivity.
•Reviews, checks and approves sub-contractors periodic statements in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor.
•Coordinates with the Operation Manager for any engineering revision required by his site due to changes in conditions or construction method.
•Coordinates and insures good work relationship with the client’s representative on site.
•Insures workers’ and equipment safety through the application of Company safety and Security Regulations.
•Coordinates with concerned parties for the eventual generation of the “as-built” drawings.
•Insures, upon completion of the project, the handing over to the client and submits the end-of-project report

Skills

•BS degree in Civil Engineering
•MS degree in Civil Engineering is a plus.
•Minimum 15 years of work experience in construction of which 5 in Site Supervision position.
•Ability to manage and motivate a labor force of varying degree of experience, expertise and functionality.
•Ability to analyze work-related problems and recommend solutions.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and handle deadline.
•Must be proficient with computer software systems
