The Role
The Project manager will be responsible for the timely management of mechanical projects at our central processing plant in Al Kharj. Your core role will be to plan and implement the execution of specific projects ensuring they are documented from scope to delivery. This will include approving drawings, ensuring capital expenditure is within budget and ensuring adequate resources and skills are available to meet agreed project timescales. The ideal candidate will have a verifiable career history of mechanical project management experience within preferably a food/ dairy factory manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities

Conducting feasibility studies on proposed projects
Project Capex objectives to be met at all times
Identify and plan technical skill base through training and recruitment
Health and safety Quality procedures
Manage project information including financials and budgets
Review and recommend on design, build and construction documents
Contractor management
External supplier management
Management of project engineers and project staff

Skills

Candidates without the following will not be considered

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 year’s project management experience in Food/Dairy Industry
Industrial refrigeration experience including ammonia gas
Industrial HVAC systems and reverse osmosis treatment experience
Effluent treatment and fire protection systems experience
SAP experience and R+D experience desirable
Excellent People management skills
Experienced in Dairy environment would be advantageous
