To manage and oversee the implementation of Qatarization requirements and services for Qatari nationals in order to align the number and development of Qatari nationals to the company’s Qatarization targets.
Policy and Procedures
Ensure the implementation of the departmental standards, policies and procedures in order to ensure that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a high quality and cost-effective service.
• Contribute to the development of Qatarization programmes by sharing best practice policies and practices to enable the company to meet current and future workforce requirements.
Implement specific plans for recruiting local graduates/post-graduates from colleges and universities to ensure key local talent is attracted.
Prepare and implement necessary internship programs to attract Qatari university students..
Qatarization Development Program
Manage the effective implementation of the Qatarization Development Program to ensure delivering a professional career development plan and training for National Employees.
Learning and Development Programs
Review the progress of Qatari nationals to make recommendation for suitable placement/training in the appropriate functional area within the company.
Manage the design and circulation of the induction program for Qatari employees and work placement students and follow up on their implementation to ensure effective design, adequate circulation, and proper implementation.
Career Development/Performance Appraisals
Formulate career development plans - in conjunction with the respective line managers - for Qatari national employees to enhance their career development.
Monitor performance management process for Qatari national staff to ensure alignment with developmental targets.
Provide professional advice to the Head of Human Resources on various Qatarization related issues to keep them informed and abreast of relevant developments.
Ensure effective relationship building with department heads and contribute to discussions about resourcing needs in order to align current Qatari manpower needs with future requirements and plans.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Local Labor Laws regarding Qatarization
Working knowledge of IT applications
Intermediate communication and presenting
Good understanding of local laws and regulations
Short term work management
Bachelor degree in related field
