Job Description
The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring implementation and adherence to the Quality Control System and standards in Quality Control Department.
The incumbent will inspect raw materials (steel angles/plates and fasteners), in process inspection in tower fabrication and galvanizing, including mechanical testing of material on UTM and galvanizing lab tests under clearly defined policies & procedures and prepare relevant documentation.
The incumbent must have, as a minimum requirement, a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production engineering with 5 years in tower manufacturing industry out of which 3 years’ experience as a junior QC Engineer in the same industry with knowledge of codes & standards, and statistical tools
Skills
1. Able to do mechanical testing of material on UTM and galvanizing lab tests.
2. knowledgeable in codes & standards.
3. Knowledgeable in the use of statistical tools.
4. Must have 5 years experience in tower manufacturing industry out of which 3 years’ experience as a junior QC Engineer.
5. Computer literate.
6. Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English & Arabic.
