Job Description
The Role:
An additional QA Manager to work with and improving our supply base. Must have Middle East experience of food vendor management with some Quality Assurance involvement, or a QA Specialist. Knows to form good working relations with food vendors to ensure they improve operating standards and provide accurate product information.
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact on Quality Assurance, product quality & Brand Assurance, as well as cooperative work with Alshaya Food Managers
- Develop quality management systems including HACCP & devise and audit relevant processes
- Manager critical incident & product recall processes including leadership of crisis management
- Coach VP's & Functional heads on quality KPI's and how to improve business performance
- Report quality performance trends to the management team & stores
Skills
Skills & Experience:
- 10 years Quality Assurance Managerial food experience
- MSC Degree in Food Service or Food Microbiology
- HACCP & ISO knowledge
- Experience in food manufacturing or catering
- Extensive audit experience
- Familiar with best practice of food safety management
- Report writing & ability to manage external auditors
- Fluent English & Arabic required
