Job Description
Managing all activities related to Quality Control, Quality Assurance such as setting specifications and standards, required inspection processes, internal audit. In addition to managing, planning, and coordinating the quality programs designed to ensure consistent quality standards at Al Rashed Food Co.
Strategic Duties
Participating with the GM in setting short and long term business strategies for achieving the company’s objectives.
Identifying improvement opportunities, to enable Al Rashed Food Co. to be proactive in the constantly changing environment.
Setting budget for the Department in coordination with the Finance Department at the company to be submitted to the GM for review and approval.
Controlling the financial performance of the Department and keep it within the set budget.
Setting, cascading and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the performance of sections and units under supervision.
Technical Duties
Directing and controlling the overall internal and external audit process for Quality Management Systems by reviewing and approving the audit plans, and audits outputs (Proposal for Improvements, Problem Reports, Preventive and Corrective Actions).
Monitoring and communicating standards created or updated by external bodies, and integrating them within the internal Quality.
Identifying non conformities and analyzing it through applying control methods to evaluate the current process and process changes and recommending corrective actions to be taken to handle these non conformities and to minimize its occurrence.
Revising and approving the Quality Control policies and procedures to assure its compatibility with Quality Management System (QMS).
Initiating the studies, researches and analysis to improve and develop the quality control activities concerning inspection, calibration, reporting, data analysis, etc.
Monitoring and recommending the outsourcing calibration agencies.
Taking the remedy actions to improve the quality and settle down any bending problems.

Leading the Management Review Meetings and discussing the progress of the adherence to the approved Quality Management policies.
Monitoring the risk assessments and critical accident investigation, as well as the set of corrective and preventive actions
General Administrative Duties
Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.
Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned personnel in the Human Resources Section
Following-up employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc
Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company
Performing any other duties related to his/her job as assigned by the Direct Supervisor

Job Specifications & Requirements
Required Educational Level and Certificates
Minimum Bachelor degree in industrial Engineering or any related field
Preferred Master degree in M.B.A in quality management or any related field
Required Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field
Preferred 12 years of experience in a related field
Required Professional Knowledge
Professional Knowledge in quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001.
General Knowledge in ISO 14001 and 18001.
General Knowledge in Safety, Risks and Hazards
Required Languages
Excellent command in English language
