Our client, Our client is a leading manufacturer of HVAC products is currently seeking to recruit Quality Inspector Expeditor Position Summary The position reports to the Quality Manager and is based permanently in the UAE at company's sub contractors Main locations are UAE and KSA where this can extend to anywhere in Middle East and Asia. The position holders principle responsibilities shall be to plan and execute the required inspections and report inspection results, support the nominated Project Quality Engineer on quality related issues and report manufacturing progress to Operations Manufacturing Supervisor and Projects department.Position Responsibilities include Ensure that inspections are completed in accordance with the requirements defined in Project or Product Quality Plans Prepare and review relevant documentation required to conduct inspections. Inspect incoming parts, parts manufacture, in-process manufacture, and final assembly of product to engineering drawings, specifications and company standard practice. Use of necessary measuring and test equipment to perform inspection. Review of quality records, material certification, test reports etc to verify parts and product conformance. Liaise with production personnel, supervision, and Project Quality Engineers to ensure timely completion of inspections. Expedite the sub contractors with a view to the contractual completion dates agreed manufacturing schedules Preparation and maintenance of inspection records
Skills
Person Specification Education Essential Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience Experience Desirable A sound understanding of inspection procedures gained within the power generation or oil and gas industry Familiar with manufacturing processes and process controls relating to fabrication, welding, coatings and mechanical electrical installations CSWIP or equivalent in weld and paint inspection procedures Skills Essential Good communication skills The ability to technically represent their own discipline within a multi-disciplined team The ability to technically represent their own discipline with customers Be "Customer Focused" and always deliver what is promised Proactive in progressing all tasks in hand A sound understanding and ability to read engineering drawings A current Internationally recognized driving license
