Job Description

-The Quantity Surveyor Engineer seeks to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality
-Responsible for site measurement, preparation of variation order, progress and final claims as well as sub-contractor’s payment certification.
-Responsible for the preparation of progress reports, claims, variation orders, monitoring of project cost control effectively and finalization of accounts.
-Confirms the adaptability of materials and equipments to specific application.
-Initiates and coordinate with testing agencies.
-Follow-ups the company internal claims from site against applications, materials and equipments performance.
-Prepares submittals with the Project Manager’s coordination.
-Undertakes costs analysis for repair and maintenance of project work.
-Prepares early stage budgets and detailed cost plans on monthly basis.
-Understands the implications of health and safety regulations

Skills

-BS degree in Civil Engineering
-Minimum 4 years of work experience
-Knowledge on contract terms, quantity measurements and building materials.
