Quantity Surveyor (Site)

Job Description

Job Purpose
To review and check works in accordance with Contract Documents.

• Prepares Contract Documents - Addenda and Direct Cost Control for Site Work.
• Reviews and approve Contractor's payment.
• Reviews and approve Variation Orders.
• Prepares and issue Job Site Instructions (JSIs) and estimation of Site Work Instructions.
• Checks work progress for payment purpose.
• Reviews of Budget and Cost Control Report as per Owner's requirement.
• Conducts Cost meetings.
• Prepares documentation like take-off quantities, Bills of Quantities as per Specification.
• Prepares final account.
• Communicates effectively with clients, as and when required.
• Ensures that all key stakeholders are kept informed of progress, problems and issues.
Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or B.E in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years experience in pre and post contract works involving multi disciplines.
• Oman based candidates will be preferred.
• Experience in building projects is a must.
• Knowledge of FIDIC
• Worked on contractual correspondances/issues, contractual interpretation & claims

Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years experience in pre and post contract works involving multi disciplines.
