RAIL TRACK ENGINEER

Job Description

Brief Description of Job:

• Experience in track related works, such as distressing, installation of turnouts, track recording procedures with specialized procedures.
• Experience in interpretation of the track recording parameters and able to propose and follow up corrective actions.
• Familiar with tamping operations and capable to plan and supervise tamping operations of large scale.
• Familiar with movement of equipment on the track
• Capable of planning trackwork activities.
• To prepare daily reports for work progress.
• Be responsible for implementation of daily work schedule and prepare work progress reports.
• Implement project quality and safety plan.

Skills

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of working experience in trackworks handing over to client.
• Able to supervise a team of Foremen, Track Laying Personnel and Track Laying activities with all the machineries.
• Have knowledge to organize his team and machinery to realize the daily work target.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
• Computer Literate.
• Fluent in English
