About the job:
We are currently looking for a Sales and Range Manager, to be based i our Dubai operation. The purpose of this role is to enhance the competitive strength of the IKEA product range by ensuring the implementation of all aspects related to selection of merchandise, systems and methods as stated in the IKEA Concept documentation.
You will co-ordinate all issues concerning the IKEA product range between the Regional Range & Logistics Manager, stores and the IKEA distributor, whilst ensuring that the IKEA range sold in the local market is selected and priced each business year.
In addition, you will co-ordinate with the Stock Controller that orders are placed for the products in a timely manner as per the commercial requirements of the business and moreover ensure their physical availability in the stores.
Finally, the job holder is the "Matrix Manager" for the respective sales managers in all stores and has to work together with the Sales Seniors in the stores to drive the annual plan for sales and range.

The successful candidate must display the following qualities -

Must have AT LEAST 5 years experience at managerial level, relating to merchandise management in the retail field
