Job Description
BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Recruitment Specialist provides the Organization with effective execution of the stages of recruitment and selection processes including job announcements, collection of applications, organization of job interviews, preparation of various selection tests, first review of applications, telephone interviews, live interviews, etc. He/she is responsible to provide regular and orderly working of database of qualified workers and “Careers” section of FINCA web site. Besides, he/she must render assistance, if required, relating to other obligations and tasks of HR Department.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Compile a candidates profil.
-Arrange venue and other logistics for the interviews.
-Communicate to the interviewees and interviewers about dates for interview.
-Coordinate interviews
-Follow up of interviews
-Drafting appointment and regret letters
-Oversees daily-to-daily recruitment activities;
-In close coordination with HR Manager develops and implements programs, plans, for recruitment, testing, selection, and job placement
-Plans and coordinates activities of subordinated staff in carrying out such functions as job postings, developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants and evaluating applicant qualifications, scheduling and conducting interviews, administering tests, checking references and background, and etc;
-Interviews candidates for open positions; Prepares Selection Committee reports
-Participates in recruitment and selection policies, procedures and forms development;
-Works together with line managers to develop JDs, conducts job analysis if required;
-Develops and maintains internal job posting program;
-Prepares and places all internal and external job adverts
-Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, and other sources of applicants;
-Determines, recommends and implements Internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates;
-Coordinates other staffing programs, such as internship, temporary assistance and etc;
-Manages off-site recruitment programs including job fairs;
-Manages automated resume and applicant tracking systems if such exists; Develops job applicants databases;
-Maintains data on recruitment activities ensures proper filing;
-Prepares and analyzes statistical reports and other data to monitor applicant flow, selection, turnover and ensures other relevant reports submission upon request;
-Performs other tasks related to the position, may replace other HR staff members during the absence and act within designated area of competence.
-Close participation and assistance in other HR department function, as required by the Human Resources Manager.
Skills
-University degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, or equivalent work experience.
-At least 3 to 4 years of working experience in HR; 2 years of them in recruitment.
-Experience in conducting interviews is a must
- Knowledge of microfinance operations and best practices is preferable.
-Demonstrated networking and negotiation skills.
-Fluent in English and Arabic.
-Ability to travel to the branches.
-Excellent computer skills.
