    Job Description

    Our client, a multinational company in the FMCG industry is currently seeking to recruit Research and Development Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Manager - Operations and Supply Chain Manager RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES- Initiate and Active involvement in new product development (NPD) using advice and information from the Quality, Sales, Marketing and Operations Departments as inputs. Conduct the detailed study on shelf life of the existing and newly developing product to offer quality product to our customer. Doing the continuous improvement of the existing products and ensuring that the New Products Conforms to the Standards and advise QC in setting HACCP CCP for New Products. Make sure Raw Materials, Pre-Mixes, in process Material, Packaging Material and Finished Goods needed for new product are in place for the work to be carried out. Lead in the Introduction and Updating of Specifications for Raw Material, Semi-Processed Material, Packaging Material and Finished Products. Assist in Maintenance of Safety and Hygiene Standards as per the Laws and Regulations that Applies to the all Products. For New Products work with Quality Dept in attaining the benefits of Quality Assurance and in order to reap the benefits thereof. (Better Quality of Goods and Services). Perform the duties for KPI maintenance. Ensure that New Product are properly developed and Tested in Lab, Process Trials, Factory and Production Trials.. Follow-up of new launched product for at least Six Months after the Launch and lead in setting Standards for New and Modified Products and Packaging. Observe Note and report to get the knowledge of the product from different competitor. Perform other Duties as Required. Arranged by mutual agreement.

    Qualifications and Experience Masters Post Graduate in Food technology. Experience with the food industry standards. Chef or Technical engineer. Degree in Food Science technology. an associate degree in engineering technology.Special Skills Knowledge of DFN and Spices categories, culinary skills and food science knowledge . Customer oriented, Organized and detail oriented. Good listening and communication skills and ability to follow directions. Flexibility and resilience. Ability to work in an unstructured environment that requires rapid decision making and adaptability. Good influencing skills across organizational and cultural boundaries, excellent interpersonal skills and Analytical thinking skills (accurate with figures). Problem solving and Project management skills. Capable of combining strategic thinking and operational detail.SKILLS a. Perfect knowledge of Windows and MS Office. SAGE software will be a plus. LANGUAGE. English Fluent.b. Arabic French - Advantage1. Additional duties will be added from time to time as per company expansion or changes in the company policy.2. Apart from the above mentioned duties adherence to company policies, rules and regulations are required.
