Job Description

On behalf of a global pump manufacturer we are seeking a Sales Engineer to be based in Al Khobar KSA.

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for the coordination and functional management of the sales activity needs of the Company's customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies

1.Acting as main contact for all parts sales related activities in nominated customers
2.Review enquiries and support overall tender process
3.Ensure that order handover documentation is " clear and concise " and results in a smooth transition
4.Provide timely and accurate Monthly Reports and submit Visit Reports
5.Support the Sales Manager with the development plan and support the establishment of both annual and monthly sales budgets and objectives
6.Responsibility for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with regards to the assigned functional area, liaising with relevant departments of the company
7.Establish market and target customer strategies.
8.Ensure that effective client contact, relationship building and management processes are in place.
9. Maintain and share knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies
10.Ensure application of sales and commercial policies, procedures, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines
11.Maintain Open Tender Database, ensuring that sales forecast and best prospect lists are provided to schedule
12.Attend sales meetings and ensure that all relevant information from assigned area is available for the sales team
13.Participate in and actively support company initiatives
14.Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.

Skills

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering
•Ideal applicants will have 5 years plus sales experience and knowledge in the pump industry
•Experience of implementing sales strategy
•Awareness /understanding of Terms & Conditions
•Knowledge of sales
•General computer skills ( SAP knowledge a benefit )
